Kia Sorento Launched in India from Rs 22.79 Lakh with Diesel, Hybrid, and AWD Options

Kia has launched the Sorento in India at a starting price of Rs 22.79 lakh, with the top variant reaching Rs 40.39 lakh, offering diesel and strong-hybrid powertrains with all-wheel drive options. The SUV is the only model in its segment to offer AWD across both engines, alongside 6-seat captain-chair or 7-seat bench layouts. It features two engine choices: a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol hybrid and a 2.2-litre diesel, both with multiple drive and terrain modes. This facelifted fourth-generation Sorento is locally assembled at Kia's Anantapur plant. It includes dual 12.3-inch screens, 10 airbags, Level 2+ ADAS, and unique Disney dashboard themes, competing with the Fortuner, Kodiaq, and Tayron.
