Kia Sorento Hybrid SUV Launched in India at Rs 27.99 Lakh: Key Features

Kia launched the Sorento in India at Rs 27.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel and Rs 29.49 lakh for the hybrid, marking its entry into the premium three-row SUV segment with its first hybrid offering. The Sorento spans nine trims, with prices climbing to Rs 40.39 lakh for the top hybrid Black Line AWD variant. Its 1.6-litre hybrid powertrain combines 180hp engine and 65hp electric motor for 245hp total, offered with all-wheel drive, a segment first. The 2.2-litre diesel produces 193hp and 442Nm. Kia's Real-Time Generative AI assistant debuts globally on the India-spec Sorento, supporting voice control and owner's manual integration. The SUV features ventilated second-row seats, a segment first, plus ADAS Level 2+ with 30 features and up to 10 airbags on top variants.
