Kia reports record November sales and plans new electric vehicle launches

Kia has reported record sales in November, selling 70,107 vehicles in the U.S., marking its best November ever. This is the first time Kia has surpassed 70,000 sales in that month. The company’s retail sales have increased by 20% year-over-year for two consecutive months. Kia's electric vehicle lineup, including the EV6 and EV9, is gaining traction. The EV6 set a November record with 1,887 units sold, while the EV9 sold 2,155 units last month. Kia plans to introduce more electric models, including the EV4 sedan and EV3 SUV, in the coming years. Kia is also offering discounts to match the federal tax credit for the EV9, which is built in Georgia. The 2025 EV9 starts under $55,000, with a long-range model offering up to 304 miles of driving range.
