Kenyan MP Nyoro denies rift with Gachagua, plans tea visit

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has denied any political rift with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, calling him a friend and planning to visit him for tea after Gachagua returns from the United States. Nyoro said he maintains fair relationships with all opposition leaders, including Gachagua, and dismissed suggestions that his activities with the People’s Party of Kenya have created hostility. He noted his absence from Gachagua’s recent consultations at Wamunyoro does not indicate disagreement. Gachagua recently hosted extended political meetings at his Nyeri home, positioning himself ahead of the 2027 General Election. Nyoro added that Gachagua has previously visited his home, and their personal relationship remains cordial despite separate party activities.
