The IEBC Technical Working Group, supported by Transparency International Kenya, is consolidating submissions from citizens and stakeholders. Officials say the framework aims to promote transparency, accountability, and fairness in political spending, fulfilling the commission's constitutional mandate. The group will produce a harmonized draft with proposed limits and a participation report for commission approval before formal gazettement. The regulations seek to strengthen oversight of campaign funds and ensure a level playing field for all electoral contestants.
