Kei Inoo stars in stage adaptation of "The Tatami Galaxy" in Tokyo and Osaka

Hey! Say! JUMP's Kei Inoo will star in the stage adaptation of Tomihiko Morimi's "The Tatami Galaxy." The play, running from May 17 to June 9 in Tokyo and Osaka, marks the first stage adaptation of the popular novel. Inoo, 35, will portray the protagonist, an uninspired third-year university student. The production is helmed by Makoto Ueda, who also wrote the screenplay for the acclaimed anime adaptation. Inoo expressed excitement for the role, noting his love for time-travel stories and the challenge of embodying the character.
