Keelung court sentences mastermind to 12 years for fatal kidnapping and corpse destruction

The mastermind of a freezer murder case in Keelung was sentenced to 12 years for deprivation of liberty resulting in death. Chen Zhangcheng and others kidnapped and beat an elderly man over a debt, leading to his death. They then attempted to burn and dispose of the body. The Keelung District Court found the defendants guilty of joint deprivation of liberty resulting in death and destruction/abandonment of a corpse.
