Authorities recovered 200 grams of gold worth ₹18 lakh and a car from Sooraj. One notable theft involved ₹2 lakh in ornaments stolen from a laborer's home in Vitla on December 20. A special investigation team was formed to address the thefts. Police are continuing efforts to identify and apprehend other suspects involved in the crimes.
