Karnataka milk federation uncovers fake Nandini ghee racket in Bengaluru

Karnataka Milk Federation officials busted a fake Nandini ghee racket in Bengaluru, involving an authorized distributor who allegedly diluted genuine ghee with palm oil. The distributor produced adulterated ghee in Tamil Nadu, packaged it as Nandini, and sold it to parlors and shops at full price. The scam was uncovered due to a suspicious decrease in the distributor's orders. Authorities seized over 8,000 liters of adulterated ghee and other materials worth approximately 1.27 crore rupees. Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the operation.
