Karnataka launches new initiatives to improve SSLC exam results ahead of March tests
Bengaluru: Karnataka's education department is implementing new programs to improve SSLC exam results ahead of the March exams. Initiatives include "one-day-one-mark," buddy learning, and classes led by zilla panchayat CEOs to enhance student preparation. Last year's pass percentage dropped due to strict exam monitoring. The department is now focusing on mock tests and special classes on school campuses, reducing reliance on private tuition. All exam centers will be monitored through webcasting to ensure integrity. A pamphlet with study tips and a recommended timetable has been released. The department confirmed there will be no grace marks for SSLC students this year, although discussions on the existing grace-mark system are ongoing.
