Karan Aujla lands in Australia for tour after visa delay resolved

Punjabi music star Karan Aujla has arrived in Australia for his five-date P-Pop Culture World Tour after a visa delay threatened the tour and postponed his opening Perth show. Fans gave him a warm welcome, and Assistant Minister Julian Hill also welcomed his arrival. The visa was eventually approved, allowing the tour to proceed with Adelaide as the new opening stop, followed by Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth. The delay occurred after immigration officials asked for additional evidence and identified Aujla as a "person of interest," which his representatives attributed to mistaken identity. The issue was reportedly linked to a person named Jaskaran Singh, arrested in Ontario in May 2024, though Aujla's representatives noted differences in age and circumstances. Aujla had previously toured Australia successfully in late 2024 after receiving a visa in September of that year.
