Kangra nursing students use face painting to promote menstrual health awareness

Kangra district health department held a workshop in Dharamshala for nursing colleges on Menstrual Health Day. Students used face painting and other activities to spread awareness about menstrual hygiene. The event aimed to break down stigma and ensure access to information and facilities for women and girls. The theme for this year was "Together for a Period-Friendly World." Officials emphasized that menstrual hygiene is linked to public health, gender equality, and human rights, advocating for clean water, sanitary pads, and accurate information for all.
