Kala Parba art festival showcases local talent at Kadri Park in Mangaluru
The art festival "Kala Parba" began on Saturday at Kadri Park in Mangaluru, featuring 120 stalls from artists in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Kerala. The event showcases a variety of drawings, sculptures, and traditional crafts. Notable displays include acrylic paintings by 72-year-old Rajan and landscape art by D.L. Achar. Young artists also participated, with stalls featuring cultural drawings and caricatures, attracting many visitors. The festival includes a drawing competition for children and a traditional dance performance by the Siddi community. The event highlights local art and culture, drawing significant public interest.
