K-drama adaptation of 'Light Shop' promises richer storytelling than original webtoon

The upcoming Disney+ K-drama "Light Shop," based on a 2011 webtoon by Kang Full, is set to premiere on December 4. Kang, who also wrote the series, claims the adaptation is "much richer" than the original webtoon. At a recent press conference, Kang expressed satisfaction with how the series brings to life emotions and stories that were difficult to convey in drawings. He noted that the characters are portrayed in a more three-dimensional way. Kang acknowledged feeling pressure after the success of his previous series, "Moving." He believes "Light Shop" has a different tone and is confident viewers will find it interesting.
