JUMBO's seven-month sales rise 5%, led by Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria

Greek retail group JUMBO reported a 5% sales increase for January-July 2026, driven by a 9% year-on-year rise in June. July sales rose 7% month-on-month, meeting management's 2026 guidance of approximately 5% sales growth and net profit of €310-320 million. Greece grew 10% in July and 8% over seven months; Cyprus 14% and 6%; Bulgaria 21% and 13%. Romania declined 3% in July and 6% over seven months amid fiscal measures. An eighth Israeli franchise store opened, Canada's first is due in late 2026, and the EU ended low-value import duty exemptions.
