Alexander suffered a "pretty severe" knee injury on March 18 during a trios match on AEW Collision and underwent surgery weeks later. The specific injury was never reported, though Dave Meltzer noted his knee had bothered him for six years. Alexander debuted in AEW in April 2025 against Hangman Page and aligned with Don Callis. He wrestled 43 times in his first 11 months before getting hurt, and no return match has been announced yet.
