Jonathan Farwell, Yul Brynner's understudy in "The King and I," dies at 93

Actor Jonathan Farwell, who was Yul Brynner's understudy in "The King and I" for over 1,400 performances without ever going on, has died at 93. Farwell had an extensive career in theater and television, including roles on Broadway and soap operas. He died from complications of a broken hip. He was known for his versatility and appeared in numerous stage productions throughout his six-decade career.
