JJP leader Ravinder Minna was shot dead in the Vikas Nagar area of Panipat. The incident happened on Friday evening. Along with Minna, two others were injured in the attack. According to police reports, the shooter also targeted Minna’s cousin and another person, who both sustained injuries. The police have identified the suspect as Ranbir from Jagsi village. He fled the scene after the shooting. Authorities have formed five teams to find the suspect. A police official stated that the investigations are ongoing. Minna was set to be the Jannayak Janta Party’s candidate for the 2024 Assembly elections in Panipat. This shooting follows another recent incident where BJP leader Surendra Jawahra was killed in Sonipat. Jawahra was shot by his neighbor during a land dispute on March 14.
