Jinwoo skips Jeju raid to protect his family

The Jeju Island Arc in Solo Leveling has started, but main character Jinwoo Sung is absent. A previous S-Rank Gate opened years ago, leading to a dungeon break that has caused significant casualties in multiple raids. Despite being a powerful S-Rank Hunter, Jinwoo chose not to participate in the raid to protect his family. His mother recently awakened from a long slumber, and he wants to avoid causing her worry after the loss of his father during a past raid. Jinwoo has placed his shadow soldiers with other Hunters for support. He remains concerned about the evolving threat, but believes the current team has a good chance of success without him.
