Jim's Mowing has officially banned former Victorian Premier Dan Andrews from using its services. This decision comes as part of a growing trend among business owners in Victoria who are publicly rejecting Andrews following his controversial handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. Jim Penman, the owner of Jim's Mowing, criticized Andrews for his actions during the lockdowns, which he claims harmed over 100,000 independent contractors. Other hospitality leaders, including Paul Dimattina, have also barred Andrews from their venues, citing widespread discontent with his policies. Andrews, who resigned in late 2023, now serves as chair of a mental health organization. However, many business owners believe his past decisions have negatively impacted the state's economy and mental health services.
