Jharkhand launches startup policy to gather 1000 ideas by 2028
The Jharkhand government has launched the 'Jharkhand Startup Policy-2023' to gather innovative business ideas from startup enthusiasts. The initiative aims to collect 1,000 startup ideas by 2028, with submissions opening on February 4 through a dedicated portal. Selected ideas will receive support through incubation and financial incentives from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Innovation Lab. The state aims to enhance its startup ecosystem, which has faced challenges in recent years, including bureaucratic issues. The policy is part of efforts to position Jharkhand as a leading startup-friendly state. The initiative follows discussions between the Indian Startup Association and state officials to revitalize the local startup environment.
