JFK Airport serves over 27000 daily passengers on top international routes

New York's JFK Airport remains the largest U.S. international gateway, serving over 27,000 daily passengers on its top 15 international routes. These routes include destinations in the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East, with significant traffic to London Heathrow and Tel Aviv. Passenger traffic has increased, particularly to Rome, which saw a 50% rise in roundtrip passengers since 2019. The number of daily flights to Rome has also grown, reflecting heightened interest in Southern European travel. Despite strong demand, American Airlines has reduced its JFK service, while Norse Atlantic has shifted to daily flights. This adjustment aims to improve pricing and overall flight loads.
