Jets sign Cook after Travis retires

The New York Jets signed undrafted free agent quarterback Brady Cook, following the recent retirement of quarterback Jordan Travis. This adds another player to the team's quarterback roster. Cook, formerly of Missouri, joins Justin Fields, Tyrod Taylor, and Adrian Martinez. Travis, a 2024 draft pick, retired due to a severe leg injury sustained in his final college game, after consulting with medical professionals. The Jets also signed several other undrafted free agents, including wide receivers, a running back, and players at various defensive positions. Travis's retirement was announced last week.
