uk.finance.yahoo.com

Jet2 PLC has announced plans to move from AIM to the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange, citing stronger summer bookings and sustained demand across its package holiday and flight-only businesses. Summer 2026 seat capacity is 7.6% higher than last year at 19.9 million seats, with booked passengers up 8.8%. The London Gatwick operation is performing ahead of expectations, prompting an increase to seven aircraft on sale there for summer 2027. Winter 2026/27 capacity is 8% higher at 5.9 million seats, and 93% of jet fuel requirements are hedged. Chief executive Steve Heapy called the move a natural next step after a decade of expansion, with the next trading update due on 18 November.
