Jet2 Liverpool-Palma flight makes emergency landing at Manchester after bird strike

A Jet2 flight from Liverpool to Palma de Mallorca made an emergency landing at Manchester Airport after a suspected bird strike. All passengers landed safely, and a replacement flight was arranged. Passenger Daren reported vibrations soon after takeoff, and about 15 minutes later the pilot announced an issue, saying the plane likely struck a bird. The aircraft landed safely, and Jet2 organized a new flight departing around 11.25am. The aircraft was a Boeing 737-800. Daren was traveling with family for a long weekend, and noted many children were onboard while crew remained professional throughout.
