Jesse Scaglion appointed general manager of Sea Dogs

The Portland Sea Dogs have promoted Jesse Scaglion to general manager, marking the first change in this role in 15 years. He replaces Geoff Iacuessa, who will remain with the team as president. Scaglion, 36, previously served as the Director of Ticketing and has experience with the Lexington Legends. He will oversee ongoing construction of a new clubhouse and the recent name change of the ballpark to Delta Dental Park. Iacuessa will now focus on a regional leadership role with Diamond Baseball Holdings, which owns the Sea Dogs and other minor league teams. The Sea Dogs' 2025 season begins on April 4.
