Jennifer Lawrence and Gene Stupnitsky reunite for new rom-com 'One Month Mark'
Jennifer Lawrence is reuniting with No Hard Feelings director Gene Stupnitsky for a new romantic comedy titled One Month Mark, with Stupnitsky in final negotiations to direct for Apple Original Films and Chernin Entertainment. The contemporary rom-com stars Lawrence, who will also produce through her Excellent Cadaver banner, with a script by Sophie Fleur de Bruijn. The logline centers on a woman who has never lasted a month in a relationship and a man who has never gone a month without one, though Lawrence's love interest has not yet been cast. Stupnitsky brings extensive comedy credentials, including three Emmy nominations for The Office and directing the 2023 film No Hard Feelings, which underperformed at the box office but gained traction on streaming. Lawrence's involvement was first reported in June, with studios and producers reportedly eager to secure the project.
