Japan's Ground Self-Defense Force unveils large snow sculpture at Sapporo festival
The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force has created a large snow sculpture for the Sapporo Snow Festival, featuring characters from the popular anime "That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime." The sculpture measures 20 meters wide and 12 meters high. This year's festival continues a tradition of showcasing anime-themed sculptures, following previous tributes to Studio Ghibli and Mobile Suit Gundam. The new sculpture combines the characters Rimuru and the Storm Dragon Veldora. The creator of the series, Fuse, plans to conclude the story later this year, although a fourth season of the anime is confirmed. The series is available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
