Jaipur Assembly mandates ministers and officials to remain during entire session hours
Jaipur Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani has directed that ministers and senior officials must stay in the House until both Question Hour and Zero Hour are finished. This follows complaints from opposition MLAs about early departures. Parliamentary affairs minister Jogaram Patel acknowledged confusion about the rules. He stated that he previously thought officials only needed to stay until Question Hour. Patel committed to ensuring their presence until it is no longer needed. The directive will take effect when the Assembly session resumes on Wednesday. The Leader of Opposition, Tikaram Jully, criticized the government for not meeting legislative commitments and claimed ministers were unprepared during Question Hour.
