IT professional arrested for growing cannabis in apartment

An IT professional was arrested for cultivating cannabis in his apartment. Police discovered approximately seventy cannabis plants being grown in his bedroom. The Haryana native, a product manager at a Technopark company, was apprehended after neighbors reported his suspected drug use. Authorities found dried cannabis and cultivation materials during the search. The accused claimed he grew the plants for personal consumption, stating it's a local practice in his hometown to consume cannabis leaves mixed with milk or as a chutney.
