Israeli forces kill two Palestinian teens in West Bank village

Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinian teenagers in the West Bank village of al-Mughayyir on Tuesday, after settlers entered the area under military escort to seize sheep, according to residents and activists. The victims were identified as 16-year-old Khalil Abu Alia and 19-year-old Omar al-Nassan. The Israeli military said troops fired at "key instigators" after Palestinians resisted the sheep seizure with stones and cinder blocks, with Abu Alia killed by a soldier. The incident occurred amid a broader surge of violence, with three other students from the same school killed by Israeli forces earlier this year. Separately, Israeli troops razed the entire village of Khirbet a-Taban in the South Hebron Hills, displacing all 70 residents, including 28 children. This marks the 66th Palestinian community wiped out since October 2023, with rights group B'Tselem accusing Israel of accelerating ethnic cleansing in the West Bank.
