Israel resumes ceasefire talks with Hamas in Qatar following hostage exchange

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has sent negotiators back to Qatar to discuss the next phase of ceasefire talks with Hamas. This follows the completion of the fifth hostage-prisoner exchange. Substantial discussions are expected after a security cabinet meeting on Monday. Advocacy groups have criticized Israel for alleged brutality towards prisoners. Five Thai hostages returned home after their release, expressing gratitude for their freedom. They are now being supported by officials to reintegrate into society. Egypt plans to host an Arab summit on February 27 to address issues concerning Palestinians.
