Irish-trained Libyan soldiers appear in Russia and Belarus

Irish-trained Libyan soldiers fear deployment to Ukraine after appearing in Russia and Belarus. These soldiers, from warlord Khalifa Haftar's 166 Infantry Battalion, were previously trained by an Irish company and are now undergoing further training in Belarus, a Russian ally. The troops' presence in Russia and Belarus, following training by Irish ex-military personnel, could cause embarrassment for the Irish government.
