Iran's IRGC Dismisses US Nuclear Claims, Calls Trump a 'Big Liar'

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has dismissed US claims about its nuclear program, calling President Donald Trump a "big liar" and asserting that Iran is not seeking nuclear weapons. IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi said the US problem is Iran's strength and expansion, not its nuclear activities, and that Washington aims to undermine this. He also challenged US claims of lost Iranian influence in the Strait of Hormuz, noting limited oil shipments do not mean the strait is open. The statement comes as Iran awaits a US response on reopening Hormuz. Data from Kpler shows daily oil exports through the strait are about half of pre-war levels. Mohebbi also said US military bases in the region have failed to provide security and are themselves insecure.
