Iran, Russia, and China hold naval drills in Gulf
Iran, Russia, and China have started joint naval drills in the Gulf of Oman, named "Marine Security Belt 2025." This marks the fifth consecutive year of military exercises among the three nations, aimed at enhancing naval cooperation. The drills include operations for striking maritime targets, damage control, and joint search and rescue missions. Observers from several countries, including Azerbaijan and South Africa, are also participating. These exercises occur amid rising tensions, with Iran accusing the U.S. of "bullying" and seeking to impose new demands in nuclear negotiations. The U.S. has increased its military presence in the region, responding to threats from Yemen's Houthis.
