Iran provides prisoner Djalali healthcare after heart attack

Ahmadreza Djalali, an Iranian-Swedish academic, suffered a heart attack and is receiving medical care, though a cardiologist won't be available until Sunday. The Iranian foreign minister stated Djalali, despite his crimes, has access to healthcare like other prisoners. Djalali's wife reported the heart attack and transfer to a hospital section within Evin Prison. Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has demanded immediate specialist care for Djalali. Djalali was sentenced to death in Iran on espionage charges. His case has drawn international criticism, with Sweden advocating for his release.
