Instagram launches new feature to add music to user profiles

maketecheasier.com

Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to add music directly to their profiles. Previously, music could only be added to posts, Stories, and Reels. This feature is currently being rolled out globally. To add music, users must have a personal account and access the mobile app. They can select a song from Instagram's music library and choose a 30-second clip to display on their profile. Only one song can be added at a time. Visitors to a profile can listen to the song by clicking a small Play button next to the title. If users do not see the music option yet, it may take time for the feature to become available on their accounts.
