Influencer hospitalized after diamondback rattlesnake bite in Florida

A wildlife influencer, David Humplett, 25, was bitten by a diamondback rattlesnake in Florida while filming a video. After the bite, he humorously praised the snake, saying, "What a meme dude!" despite the seriousness of the situation. Humplett was airlifted to UF Health Shands and received 88 antivenom injections. He later shared a video from his hospital bed, expressing fear but maintaining a positive attitude about the incident. He stated he does not blame the snake, acknowledging it was acting in self-defense. Humplett's condition remains serious as he continues to recover in the ICU.
