Indie studio develops unofficial Monkey Island game as a tribute to classic series

An indie studio, BeanAdventureAgency, is developing an unofficial Monkey Island game titled The Booze of Monkey Island. This early-access game is free to download and aims to capture the classic atmosphere and humor of the original series. The Booze of Monkey Island features a radial menu system and includes familiar characters like Wally and Kate Capsize. While it lacks voice acting and has some animation issues, it reflects the style of earlier titles, particularly The Curse of Monkey Island. BeanAdventureAgency is creating this game as a non-profit tribute while also seeking funding for their original project, The Adventures of Tango Rio, through Kickstarter.
