Indian Railways invests 1,147 crore in redevelopment of three Jharkhand railway stations

The Indian Railways will invest Rs 1,147 crore to redevelop three railway stations in Jharkhand: Ranchi, Hatia, and Tatanagar. Construction at Ranchi is ongoing, with the foundation for Hatia already laid. Ranchi station's southern complex and staff quarters are expected to be completed in six months. Work on the north side will start afterward. Hatia station will receive Rs 295 crore for new platforms and passenger amenities. Tatanagar station will be redeveloped for Rs 348 crore. Additionally, 54 other stations in Jharkhand are being upgraded.
