Indian Railways has extended two EMU train services beyond Palwal to Mathura Junction and Kosikalan, benefiting daily commuters on the Faridabad-Palwal route. The temporary extension will operate daily until August 30, 2026. Train number 64016/64019 (Shakur Basti-Palwal-Shakur Basti) will now run to Mathura Junction, while train 64082/64051 (New Delhi-Palwal-Ghaziabad) will extend to Kosikalan. The Mathura-bound train will stop at Rundhi, Sholaka, Banchari, Hodal, Kosikalan, Chhata, Ajhai, Vrindavan Road, and Bhuteshwar stations. Passengers previously had to change trains for onward journeys, causing inconvenience. Railway officials have advised travelers to contact the Rail Madad helpline at 139 for schedule and route information before their journey.
