Indian boy's rare condition causes bleeding from eyes, nose, and ears

An 11-year-old boy in India experienced unexplained bleeding from his eyes, nose, and ears, a rare condition known as hematidrosis. The boy was diagnosed with hematidrosis, a condition where individuals sweat blood through their pores, mouth, nose, ears, or tear ducts. This diagnosis was challenging due to its rarity, with fewer than 50 cases reported globally. The bleeding episodes were linked to significant emotional and psychological stress, particularly school anxiety and parental expectations. Treatment involving medication and therapy led to a significant reduction in bleeding within weeks.
