India to establish passport centers in all parliamentary constituencies, starting in Madhya Pradesh
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia announced that a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) will be established in each of India's 543 parliamentary constituencies. The initiative begins in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Scindia's constituency, and aims to improve passport services nationwide. Additionally, six new passport centers will open in Madhya Pradesh this year. Scindia emphasized that this effort, supported by Prime Minister Modi, will make passport services more accessible to the public. Previously, residents had to travel to Bhopal or Gwalior for passport services. The new PSK in Guna is expected to address these challenges directly.
