India agrees to accept verified illegal immigrants from the US, says PM Modi

India will accept "verified illegals" from the US, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This statement came during a press conference with US President Donald Trump, addressing the issue of Indian immigrants living illegally in the US. Earlier this month, the Trump administration deported 104 Indian illegal immigrants. Many deportees reported being detained at the US border before their return to India, with some facing difficult conditions during their journey. India's Foreign Secretary stated that the US has identified around 487 Indians with final removal orders, providing details for 298 individuals to New Delhi. Modi emphasized the need to combat human trafficking linked to illegal immigration.
