Il Tempo editor departs after two years of fighting for democracy

The editor of Il Tempo has stepped down after nearly two years, thanking the staff and the Angelucci family for their support and freedom. During his tenure, the newspaper focused on combating what he described as a radical left-wing agenda and an "ethical state" vision, while also investigating radical Islamist designs in Italy. The outgoing editor also criticized the political discourse surrounding the government led by Giorgia Meloni, and welcomed Daniele Capezzone as his successor.
