Igor Thiago to remain on bench for Brentford's match against Leicester despite injury return
Brentford's Igor Thiago will not start against Leicester this weekend, despite returning from a serious knee injury. Head coach Thomas Frank confirmed that Yoane Wissa will lead the attack instead, as Thiago continues to regain fitness. Thiago made his competitive debut recently, playing 18 minutes in a draw against Everton. He played 70 minutes with the B team on Tuesday but will remain on the bench for the match against Leicester. Leicester recently sacked manager Steve Cooper and will be led temporarily by first-team coach Ben Dawson. The club is in discussions to appoint Ruud van Nistelrooy as Cooper's permanent replacement.
