Ice Pick Lodge has announced Pathologic 3, a sequel to their plague simulation game, set for release in 2025. The new game will introduce a time travel mechanic and a new character, the Bachelor, who will focus on medical research and disease management. Players will have 12 in-game days to influence the town's events, with the ability to revisit decisions and see their impacts. This differs from previous installments, as it allows for more narrative exploration and player agency. Unlike Pathologic 2, which was a remake, Pathologic 3 will be a direct sequel. The game aims to expand on the series' themes while introducing new gameplay elements.
