Iberia delays Madrid to Washington flights until April 2025

Iberia has postponed the restart of its seasonal flights from Madrid to Washington Dulles Airport until April 12, 2025. The service was originally set to resume in January and then moved to mid-March. The airline will operate six flights per week using the Airbus A321XLR, which recently joined its fleet. Iberia typically suspends this route during winter due to lower demand. United Airlines also offers seasonal flights to Washington, starting March 30, 2025. Iberia's A321XLR has a capacity of 240 seats, while United's Boeing 767-400 seats 231 passengers.
