Humanoid robot Protoclone mimics human movement eerily

Clone Robotics has introduced a new humanoid robot called Protoclone, which features 1,000 artificial muscles. This robot closely mimics human movement and anatomy, raising both interest and discomfort among viewers. Protoclone stands 6 feet tall and has a skeleton made of 206 polymer bones. Its unique muscular system uses a proprietary technology that allows it to move like a human by expanding and contracting artificial muscles. Currently, Protoclone is still in development and requires suspension for stability. Clone Robotics plans to produce 279 units, with pre-orders expected to start in late 2025.
