Humane recalls AI Pin Charge Case over overheating concerns

Humane is recalling its AI Pin Charge Case due to overheating risks from battery cells supplied by a third-party vendor. The company stated the recall is voluntary and affects only the Charge Case, not the AI Pin or other accessories. The recall follows one reported incident involving a third-party USB-C cable. Humane has not received reports of injuries or damage and has ended its relationship with the battery supplier. Consumers who purchased the Charge Case separately will receive a $149 refund, while those who bought it with the AI Pin will get $129 back. Replacement cases are expected in three to six months, affecting about 10,500 units.
